DevOps Lead

About the Role

We seek an experienced DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) professional with over 8 years of expertise, ready to lead initiatives involving hybrid and on-premises Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in deploying and managing infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm, with a strong background in data processing, microservices architecture, networking, and security aspects. Expertise in scripting with Bash and Python as well as familiarity with AWS cloud services is essential. Holding certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or security is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage hybrid and on-prem Kubernetes deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Maintain and optimize cloud and on-prem infrastructure with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Support microservices architecture with reliable data processing pipelines.
• Ensure robust networking and security configurations across environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with Bash and Python to streamline operations.
• Collaborate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ professional experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes administration, especially hybrid and on-prem implementations.
• Strong command of infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Deep understanding of microservices, networking, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting languages.
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.
• Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud technologies, or security domains are preferred.
