Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and dedicated Diagnostic Radiographer to join the diverse team at NHS Grampian. This role primarily involves working at a busy elective orthopaedic hospital that also provides services for elderly patient care and rehabilitation. Candidates will mainly be based here but may participate in rotational duties covering additional NHS sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The role includes performing a variety of general radiographic imaging procedures, including those in theatre settings and under fluoroscopy. The department makes use of digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) systems, integrated with PACS/RIS technology. The radiology team supports ongoing professional development, promoting audit and research activities.

Work Environment and Location

Situated in Aberdeen, the position offers the chance to live in a lively, cosmopolitan city with excellent transport connections including air, rail, and sea routes linking to the rest of the UK and internationally.
