Job description

Role overview

Power International Holding is looking for a Digital Learning Specialist to build and roll out digital learning solutions that improve how teams learn and deliver training. This position focuses on applying instructional design methods and adult learning concepts while keeping all work aligned with the department’s standards and objectives.

Digital learning strategy and content development

  • Plan and execute digital learning initiatives that strengthen employee development and learning access.
  • Assess learning technologies, platforms, and tools to determine the best-fit options for training delivery.
  • Design engaging digital learning assets such as e-learning courses, videos, and simulations for different learner needs.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create content that supports learning goals and wider business objectives.

Learning platform management

  • Oversee the learning platform, including content updates, user management, and technical assistance, to keep the learner experience smooth.
  • Review learner participation and performance metrics to measure program impact and guide improvements based on data.
  • Train and support employees and managers in using digital learning platforms and related tools effectively.

Ongoing improvement and stakeholder partnership

  • Keep up with new trends and proven practices in digital learning and instructional design to improve offerings over time.
  • Work with HR and business leaders to identify learning priorities and create solutions that support workforce capability and company goals.
  • Encourage a strong learning culture by promoting digital learning tools and resources across the organization.

Technical knowledge and tools

The role calls for hands-on exposure to onboarding and integration of LXPs such as Degreed, Cornerstone, and 360Learning. It also requires practical experience with photo and video editing tools, visual design, and storyboarding. Familiarity with Storyline, Articulate, Brainshark, Adobe Learning Manager, and delivery tools such as Zoom, Webex, GoToTraining, and Microsoft Teams is important. Experience with at least one LMS, preferably SAP, is expected. Working knowledge of authoring and editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and ScreenFlow is also needed. ERP knowledge, ideally SAP functional skills, is required for success in this position.

Experience requirements

  • You should have at least 8 years of total professional experience.
  • At minimum, 5 years should be in digital learning, instructional design, or learning technologies.
  • Experience in the GCC region for 2 years or more will be considered an advantage.

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline is required.
