Role Summary
We are launching our largest Supply Chain site in Redbank, Queensland — an expansive 77,100 sqm omni-channel distribution center featuring cutting-edge technology. This permanent full-time position offers an exciting chance to spearhead the management and enhancement of advanced warehouse systems as part of a futuristic logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the performance of newly implemented Warehouse Management System (WMS), Warehouse Execution System (WES), and Robotics Control Systems (RCS) to achieve top-tier omni-channel distribution center operations.
- Collaborate with external technology vendors, overseeing asset management and ensuring adherence to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Work closely with Technology, Supply Chain Continuous Improvement, and Operations teams to analyze business workflows and implement system improvements.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting, monitor system issues on-site, and coordinate with IT and network infrastructure teams to maintain seamless operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is proactive, technically skilled, and operationally savvy, capable of resolving complex problems swiftly in a dynamic environment. You must be able to clearly communicate technical information and lead teams through technology-driven transformations.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, automated warehousing, or fast-paced logistics.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain systems including WMS, TMS, and RCS; proficient SQL skills are essential, with SAP experience highly valued.
- Strong background in business process mapping and continuous improvement practices such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Certificates or diplomas in IT, Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Supply Chain; equivalent industry experience is also considered.
