Core Duties
- Accompanying experienced truck drivers on residential or commercial garbage and recycling routes
- Assisting with safely and efficiently collecting waste and recyclables from various locations
- Manually lifting and loading bins onto the vehicle
- Operating mechanical lifting equipment after receiving proper training
- Walking rapidly between stops, maintaining a physically active pace
- Maintaining professional collection standards and safety protocols
- Helping to keep the truck clean and reporting any route-related concerns to supervisors or drivers
