Job description

Role overview

Dream Matter Labs is hiring a part-time E-learning Developer to work remotely from Australia. In this role, you will create, update, and support interactive learning content that helps with onboarding, capability building, and project-specific training across the studio.

What you will do

You will partner with team leads to understand training needs, turn those needs into learning materials, and deliver courses through a learning management environment. The work also includes packaging modules in formats such as SCORM, testing learning experiences, improving them based on feedback, and making sure the content stays useful and engaging.

You will collaborate with game designers, producers, and other teammates so that the learning resources are easy to follow, visually clear, and aligned with studio priorities.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on ability to create e-learning experiences using development tools and sound instructional methods.
  • Strong instructional design skills, including content structuring, objective alignment, and application of adult learning principles.
  • Experience with learning management systems and training development, including course organization, progress tracking, and outcome measurement.
  • Comfort with SCORM or comparable standards used to package and publish online training content.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills for presenting complex ideas in a simple and engaging format.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while coordinating effectively with a team and meeting part-time deadlines.
  • Interest in, or experience with, video games, game development workflows, or creative digital media is a strong advantage.
  • Training or education in instructional design, educational technology, game design, or a similar area is beneficial.
