About Us
Notion is an innovative AI-powered collaborative workspace that integrates knowledge management, projects, meetings, and AI tools to streamline work and reduce fragmentation. Millions of individuals and businesses use Notion to enhance productivity. Our team members, called Notinos, embody craftsmanship and a dedication to creating enduring solutions that enhance how humans work together, especially as AI evolves the workplace.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Early Career Technical Recruiter to revolutionize early career talent acquisition. This role suits someone passionate about designing new recruiting strategies and developing enriching programs to attract and nurture emerging talent, focusing on internships, recent graduates, and professionals with up to two years of experience. You'll collaborate closely with multiple departments including Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, and People to build a comprehensive early career approach. The position is based in San Francisco, requiring onsite presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to foster team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage robust, scalable recruiting initiatives targeting early career candidates, including internship and graduate pipelines.
- Innovate talent sourcing techniques beyond conventional campus channels by engaging communities, events, hackathons, open-source platforms, and AI-driven tools.
- Design unbiased and insightful candidate evaluation methods that assess potential for learning and creativity rather than current knowledge alone.
- Collaborate with Communications, Design, and People teams to build a compelling employer brand narrative focused on career launch opportunities at Notion.
- Train hiring managers and interviewers to effectively and fairly evaluate early career talent.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience in recruiting, including exposure to university or programmatic hiring.
- A proactive, builder mindset to craft new programs rather than maintain existing ones.
- Strong curiosity and experimental approach to sourcing talent and candidate engagement.
- Excellent understanding of employer branding and candidate experience to foster trust and positive perceptions.
- Capability to design strategic programs and execute on them efficiently.
- Exceptional communication and relationship skills for engaging with candidates and internal teams.
- Comfortable using data analytics to inform decisions and identify successful recruiting strategies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing early career programs from the ground up.
- Prior experimentation with unconventional sourcing or assessment methods and insights gained.
- Familiarity with early career recruitment for technical and engineering roles.
- Usage of Notion software and understanding of its mission and platform.
Compensation & Additional Information
We offer competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. For positions located in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated salary range is $135000 to $151000 annually, dependent on various factors including candidate experience and role complexity.

Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and do not discriminate based on legally protected characteristics. We consider applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws and provide reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities during the hiring process.
Work Environment
