About the Role
Whitman Legal Resources is collaborating with a mid-sized law firm to recruit an eDiscovery Analyst. The position is available at any of the firm's locations including Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington, DC. The analyst will manage the processing of electronically stored information (ESI) aligned with industry standards, primarily using Relativity software. The role includes quality assurance, project coordination, and cooperation with internal teams to facilitate litigation and discovery efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ESI processing through Relativity following established procedures and best practices.
- Conduct quality control checks at various processing stages.
- Provide support for the collection, processing, review, and production of electronic discovery materials.
- Oversee processing tasks and promptly resolve any issues.
- Ensure precise, secure, and consistent data handling.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on workflows, project progress, and quality control methods.
- Work closely with attorneys, litigation support staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in project planning, deadline tracking, and task management.
- Detect potential risks, discrepancies, or technical challenges and escalate accordingly.
- Contribute to enhancing eDiscovery workflows and procedures.
- Handle multiple projects and competing priorities efficiently within tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of practical experience with Relativity software.
- Background in processing ESI within a law firm, legal support, or litigation support setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of eDiscovery workflows and industry benchmarks.
- Excellent skills in organization and project management.
- Strong attention to detail paired with a dedication to quality control.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Relativity Processing Specialist Certification is highly desirable.
