Job description
About Fuse Energy
Fuse Energy is a vertically integrated energy company in a fast-growth phase, with 300k+ customers, $550M+ in ARR and a recent $210M raise from leading investors. The business has grown 700% in the last year and is pursuing a bold goal: making energy cheaper, cleaner and more abundant so people can build, play and solve bigger problems.
The company operates across energy supply, hardware, grid-scale solar, home solar installations and expansion into new markets and robotics. It is also building an internal content and creative function designed to be a standalone team with the goal of making Fuse and its vision impossible to ignore.
Role Overview
As an Editor, you will transform raw footage into engaging videos across formats and channels. The role calls for fast delivery, strong opening moments that grab attention, and the ability to shape content for social, long-form and TV campaign use. You will collaborate daily with creators, strategists, producers and the Head of Creative.
What You Will Do
- Produce high-volume edits quickly while maintaining strong quality across different platforms and campaign types.
- Create multiple versions of successful edits so they can be tested and the strongest performers can be used in paid ads.
- Work from briefs provided by producers, strategists and creators.
What the Role Requires
The two most important qualities are strong instinct for hooks and sharp editorial taste. You should know how to start a video in a way that makes viewers curious enough to keep watching, while also being able to move quickly without sacrificing craft.
Advanced ability in CapCut or Premiere is essential. A genuine love for editing, openness to trying fresh ideas, and the drive to produce a large volume of strong work are all important. Experience as a videographer is a plus.
What You Will Get to Work On
You will have the chance to edit a wide variety of content, ranging from rapid social edits and product launches to cinematic films. The work may include solar farm launches, hardware reveals, new-country launch campaigns, explainers about how energy works, and content about the company’s robotics efforts.
Benefits
- Competitive pay plus equity participation.
- Biannual bonus arrangement.
- Fully covered technology provided to suit your setup and workflow.
- Paid yearly leave.
- Breakfast and dinner support for employees who work from the office.
