Position Overview

American Fidelity Assurance is seeking an Educational Sales Representative to promote insurance, annuity, financial products, and section 125 administration within the educational community across the Oklahoma City, OK area. This role involves working predominantly with existing school accounts, engaging with teachers and school staff to assist them in enrolling for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships within established school accounts without cold calling.
  • Meet with educators and other school employees to enroll them in various benefits offerings.
  • Promote and explain insurance, annuity, financial services, and section 125 administration products.
  • Collaborate with a team to handle an assigned metro area territory and participate in enrollment assistance statewide.
  • Focus on building lasting client relationships.
  • Participate in extensive training to excel in the role.
  • Utilize support resources provided by a dedicated sales support team.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Base annual salary of $46,000 supplemented with monthly commissions.
  • Expected first-year total earnings between $85,000 and $120,000.
  • Incentives for new hires during the first year.

Candidate Requirements

  • Maximum of two previous jobs within the last five years.
  • At least two years of sales experience.
  • Completion of 60 college credit hours.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales success.
  • Possession of a clean driving record.
