Job Overview
The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities of various industrial electrical machinery and utilities to ensure high operational uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct installation, commissioning, and both preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment such as CNC Horizontal Boring Machines, CNC Horizontal and Vertical Turning Lathes, large CNC Gantry Plano Millers, and material handling assets like EOT cranes, transporters, and hydraulic lifters.
- Manage operation and upkeep of utility systems including substations, UPS, UIT, SCVS, shop electricals, lighting systems, HVAC, and manlifters like GENIE.
- Efficiently respond to breakdown maintenance demands, targeting machine uptime exceeding 98%.
- Plan inventory by identifying required spares and initiating purchase requisitions for timely procurement.
- Implement continuous improvement activities such as 5S methodology, suggestions, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Utilize technical knowledge of PLC logic, ladder diagrams, SCADA systems, and the integration between electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Adhere to ISO standards to maintain system compliance and quality.
- Maintain clear and effective communication within teams and stakeholders.
