Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic maintenance specialists committed to outstanding customer service and innovative problem-solving within a hospitality environment. The Electrician will play an essential role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical (M&E) and HVAC systems throughout the hotel complex with a focus on health and safety.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation apparatus to ensure continuous and safe operation of hotel facilities.
• Handle repairs and upkeep of domestic single and three-phase mains distribution systems, lighting, and in-house power installations and appliances.
• Provide support for emergency systems including fire alarms, lighting, batteries, standby power including generator systems.
• Manage control systems related to M&E processes including general electrical equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shaver sockets, and all guest and service elevators.
• Interpret blueprints or sketches to determine wiring and equipment locations and ensure they meet building and safety regulations.
• Utilize a variety of tools and devices such as power construction equipment, measuring instruments, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps effectively.

Education and Qualifications

Applicants should be qualified electricians holding a diploma in electro-technical services, supplemented by a basic high school education. Demonstrable knowledge of electrical equipment operation and maintenance is required, alongside proficiency in English and fault diagnosis skills.
