About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist to manage a high-volume, complex case portfolio across a national scope. Reporting to the HR Advisory Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of sensitive employee relations matters, acting as the primary subject matter expert for leadership. This role requires a seasoned professional adept at navigating intricate workplace challenges, ensuring all outcomes are balanced, operationally sound, and fully compliant with the Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation. A solutions-focused approach is essential to effectively manage organizational risk and statutory obligations in a dynamic advisory setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the comprehensive resolution of complex employee relations cases, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace investigations.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Australian Employment Law, with a strong emphasis on the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.
  • Provide support for enterprise agreement bargaining processes and interpret existing agreements.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across both skilled and non-skilled workforces within a large, multi-site organization.
  • Deliver practical, easy-to-understand advice, maintaining composure and clarity even in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, with substantial experience in employee relations and case management.
  • Proven ability to provide solution-focused HR/ER advice of varying complexity while adhering to strict compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP SuccessFactors.
