Role Summary
The position of Equity Dealer involves facilitating client transactions in stocks, bonds, and derivatives. This role demands analyzing market data, economic indicators, and financial statements to optimize profits and minimize risks. Successful candidates must exhibit swift analytical abilities and keep abreast of ongoing market developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed market research to understand economic trends and company performance impacting security prices.
- Engage with clients to ascertain their investment aims, risk appetite, and preferences, delivering tailored advice accordingly.
- Accurately execute client orders using trading platforms, ensuring timely and precise transaction processing.
- Manage exposure by implementing risk management strategies to safeguard client investments.
- Comply with regulatory frameworks and internal policies governing trading activities.
- Maintain detailed records of dealings and client communications; prepare relevant reports for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clients with updates on market conditions, investment strategy changes, and other pertinent information, while coordinating with internal teams.
- Continuously monitor financial markets and regulatory changes to refine expertise and enhance client service.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and industry entities such as institutional investors and fund managers.
- Utilize financial software and trading systems to analyze data, place trades, and manage portfolios effectively.
- Assess client portfolio performance periodically and recommend strategy adjustments to align with changing market scenarios.
- Collaborate with research analysts by sharing market condition feedback and client insights to support stock recommendations.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- A minimum educational qualification of completion of 12th grade.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in trading or financial markets, preferably within the industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities coupled with a profound understanding of financial markets and trading techniques.
- Proficiency with trading platforms, market analysis software, financial research tools, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding communication skills and judicious decision-making aptitude in fast-paced settings.
- Mandatory possession of NISM Series VIII certification.

Compensation
The monthly remuneration ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 25,000.
