Role overview

We are hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a Microsoft Dynamics delivery team in New Zealand. The role sits within a supportive PMO environment that places real value on teamwork, flexibility, and maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life. You will collaborate with project managers across ANZ and work with a leader who understands the demands of project delivery and supports the team in achieving strong outcomes.

This position offers the chance to manage complex programmes, coordinate stakeholders, and resolve delivery challenges while working in a hybrid-style environment.

Key contribution

You will be responsible for leading large-scale Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement programmes and helping clients, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders convert strategic plans into measurable results.

  • Guide the execution of complex Dynamics 365 CE projects and related strategic initiatives.
  • Align multiple teams to ensure projects progress successfully.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements, define scope, and build delivery plans.
  • Spot risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies early and manage them proactively.
  • Support governance, reporting, and decision-making throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to delivery methods that improve client outcomes and project success.

Candidate profile

The ideal professional combines solid project leadership with the ability to build trusted relationships and operate effectively in complex environments.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) projects.
  • Background working with a consulting firm or technology vendor is required.
  • Strong experience managing projects and programmes across several teams and workstreams.
  • Proven success leading large business and technology initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience delivering work through Agile, DevOps, or hybrid methods.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a data-led approach.
  • Public sector project experience is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2, or PMP/PMI are valued.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence is useful.
