About the Role
We invite you to join N26's Executive Office as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this vital position, you will provide sophisticated administrative and operational support, contributing to key projects that drive business priorities and enhance team collaboration. You will gain insight into C-level executives' day-to-day operations, the inner workings of N26’s leadership, and how strategic objectives are realized.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the CTO’s complex schedule across multiple time zones, prioritizing and advising on meeting cadence in alignment with strategic goals.
- Serve as a gatekeeper by screening incoming requests, communications, and access to the CTO, ensuring only pertinent matters reach the executive.
- Use discretion to avoid unnecessary CTO involvement in daily operations and team issues, addressing inquiries independently or escalating to the Chief of Staff as needed.
- Draft high-quality communications, documents, and presentations tailored for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead and track various projects assigned by the CTO including planning, deadline follow-up, and deliverables coordination.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, team events, all-hands, and offsite gatherings from inception to completion.
- Organize intricate domestic and international travel arrangements at short notice, encompassing flights, accommodation, transport, visa processes, and security considerations.
- Complete administrative responsibilities such as expense reporting, reimbursements, post handling, IT liaison, and financial administration punctually.
- Foster robust relationships with executives, team members, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with fellow Executive Assistants and stakeholders to optimize processes and maintain business continuity across the management team.
- Support various initiatives led by the CTO and advocate on their behalf within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of five years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in managing projects is advantageous.
- Business-level fluency in English required.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities with heightened emotional intelligence.
- Expert prioritization and workflow management for multiple calendars and executives.
- Unwavering integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when interacting with senior leadership.
- Strong analytical skills to assess vast amounts of information and evaluate priorities swiftly.
- Quick learning aptitude regarding organizational roles, especially the CTO’s team and executive office.
- Advanced proficiency in office software, skilled in crafting and editing executive-level documents and presentations.
- Good understanding of financial numeracy and corporate finance concepts is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to complete complex tasks independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive stakeholder situations and mitigate conflict effectively.
- Proactive with appropriate urgency and a continuous improvement mentality.
Benefits and Perks
- Accelerated career advancement within one of Europe's prominent fintech innovators.
- Generous employee benefits including personal development budget, work-from-home allowance, discounts on fitness, wellness memberships, language learning apps, and public transit benefits.
- Exclusive N26 Premium banking subscription for employees and their family members or friends.
- Additional annual leave accrued with years of service.
- Autonomy in your role, exposure to advanced technologies, and collaboration with a diverse and inclusive team.
- Relocation support including visa assistance for international hires.
