Job description

About the Company

This role sits within a global water-solutions network backed by the Aliaxis group. The business has spent over four decades developing custom plastic extrusion and building products for the construction sector. Its focus is on durable, innovative solutions that improve the appearance and usability of homes throughout New Zealand.

Sustainability is a core part of the company’s “Growth with Purpose” approach. In partnership with key customers, offcuts of Palliside collected from construction sites are recycled so they do not end up in landfill.

Values and Culture

The team looks for people who align with three core behaviours:

  • Dare: challenge the usual way of doing things, innovate, and learn quickly.
  • Care: look after the environment, customers, and colleagues.

  • Help maintain smooth output by controlling process conditions to achieve target machine speed, uptime, recovery, and quality consistency.
  • Support continuous improvement across equipment, systems, and people by sharing technical knowledge and suggesting updates to documentation where needed.
  • Investigate and resolve process issues, escalating and following up when the issue cannot be solved within the required time.
  • Help train team members on task-specific activities and take part in reviewing plant procedures and processes.
  • Ensure tool changes are completed safely and on time, and that tooling is stored according to company procedures.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the team leader.
