About the Role
Our client is looking to hire an experienced Facility Management Manager to oversee comprehensive facility management operations spanning multiple projects. The role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring high client satisfaction, enhancing commercial outcomes, and fostering team growth. This opportunity is suitable for seasoned Facility Management Managers, Senior Operations Managers, or FM Operations Leaders aspiring to advance towards a Director-level position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily management and delivery of integrated facility management services across varied sites.
- Ensure adherence to contractual KPIs and service level agreements.
- Supervise Hard FM, Soft FM, and specialized facility management services.
- Formulate and implement operational strategies for better efficiency, quality, and service output.
- Guarantee compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Organize periodic operational and performance review meetings.
- Handle client expectations and address escalated operational challenges.
- Explore options to expand contracts and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Oversee operational budgeting and cost containment efforts.
- Assess project profitability and manage financial performance.
- Identify and execute cost-saving measures without affecting service standards.
- Support contract mobilization, renewals, and growth initiatives.
- Lead and mentor teams including Operations Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and support staff.
- Develop succession plans and nurture high-performing teams.
- Promote employee engagement and performance management systems.
- Instill a culture emphasizing accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, client demands, and organizational policies.
- Support asset lifecycle management and maintenance scheduling.
- Oversee CAFM system implementation and related reporting.
- Audit preventive and corrective maintenance efficiency.
- Ensure operational preparedness for audits and inspections.
- Participate actively in tender evaluation and preparation of technical proposals.
- Contribute operational insights during bidding and client presentation phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is advantageous.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in Facility Management.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role within a Facility Management service provider.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple facilities or extensive integrated FM contracts.
- Experience working in GCC countries is highly preferred.
- Background in FM outsourcing companies is beneficial.
- Strong expertise in facility management and comprehensive knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
