Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete accounting records for assigned entities, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and documented appropriately.

  • Record client receipts accurately and manage related-party, loan, and intercompany financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly accounting schedules diligently.
  • Conduct reconciliations for balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, prepare and post period-end adjustments, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Generate financial statements in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other applicable frameworks.
  • Support management accounting activities by providing variance analysis and preparing management reports as needed.
  • Assist with quarterly GST or VAT filings and corporate income tax submissions, collaborating with tax consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory deadlines and maintain proper documentation for tax and audit purposes.
  • Support statutory year-end audits, including preparation of audit schedules and addressing auditor queries.
  • Continuously assess and enhance accounting systems, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support management with ad-hoc projects and financial analyses as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA are preferred.
  • At least five years of pertinent accounting experience, ideally within multi-entity organizational structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of SFRS, IFRS, IRAS requirements, and GST regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent, along with strong Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate self-motivation, and consistently meet tight deadlines.
