Role Overview

The Financial Analyst position at Pata Negra Charcutaria is a part-time, remote opportunity focused on aiding financial decision-making and enhancing business performance. The role encompasses preparation and assessment of financial reports, support with budgeting and forecasting, and examining revenue, expenses, and profitability across product lines and markets.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor essential financial metrics, detect trends and discrepancies, and deliver clear, data-supported insights and recommendations to leadership teams. Maintain precise financial records, collaborate with operations and sales departments to grasp business drivers, and contribute to refining financial processes and controls. Participate actively in financial review meetings and communicate findings proactively.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Finance to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decisions.
Advanced analytical capabilities to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
Experience in Financial Reporting, including report and dashboard preparation and presentation.
Effective communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
Proficiency with spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets and foundational financial modeling knowledge.
High attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and adeptness in managing multiple priorities within a part-time, remote context.
Educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Industry experience in retail, food, or consumer goods is advantageous but not mandatory.
