Role Overview

The position of Fire System Testers and Surveyors is a full-time on-site role located in Auckland. Responsibilities include performing regular and scheduled tests on fire protection systems such as alarms, sprinklers, special hazard systems, and fire extinguishers to confirm operational status and compliance with applicable standards. Daily duties involve implementing test protocols, accurately recording findings, identifying faults or compliance issues, and generating comprehensive reports with recommendations.

Additional Duties

The role also requires surveying installed systems to ensure BWOF compliance, assisting IQPs during inspections, and coordinating testing with clients and site personnel. Team members will support basic maintenance activities, participate in passive fire inspections, and contribute to ongoing improvements in testing procedures and safety standards.
