Overview

This role requires managing and coordinating a team engaged in food preparation and portioning to ensure the delivery of quality meals. The position is based at a physical location in Kingston, Ontario, and remote work is not available.

Language Requirement

Fluency in English is necessary for this role.

Educational Requirements

No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required for applicants.

Experience Required

Applicants should have between 7 months and less than one year of relevant experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate staff involved in preparing and portioning food items.
  • Calculate ingredient quantities and supply needs for meal preparation accurately.
  • Ensure food quality and service standards meet established criteria.
  • Maintain accurate records related to inventory, maintenance, sales, and food wastage.
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays and verify their accuracy.
  • Manage and inspect the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Develop and organize staff work schedules efficiently.

Supervisory Scope

The supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 3 to 4 employees.
