Foreign Trade / Export Control & Customs Specialist

Position Overview

An international industrial technology company, located in the Greater Ulm Region with flexible hybrid working options, seeks a practical professional to assist with its Foreign Trade, Export Control, and Customs functions.

Primary Duties

• Support daily import and export transactions and operations.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant customs and foreign trade laws and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with logistics companies, freight forwarders, and teams within the organization.
• Examine and verify shipping and export paperwork for accuracy.
• Assist with customs classification tasks, export verifications, and trade compliance procedures.
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to enhancing processes.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in customs, foreign trade, export, logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding sectors.
• A practical and hands-on working style.
• Familiarity with import/export workflows and related trade documentation.
• Export control knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in both German and English languages.
