About the Role
Our client, a leading multinational company, is seeking an APAC FP&A Analyst for a fixed-term contract of 10 months. This role offers a significant responsibility to manage regional financial planning and analysis functions, closely collaborating with senior stakeholders across the APAC region, and contributing to strategic decisions in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the APAC region, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insightful performance metrics.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities by working in partnership with both regional and local finance teams to generate reliable financial projections and support business plans.
- Collaborate with regional business leaders to deliver financial analyses, commercial intelligence, and actionable recommendations that influence operational and strategic choices.
- Develop management reports, perform variance analysis, and create financial presentations highlighting business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support long-term business planning, strategic projects, and provide ad hoc financial investigations for senior leadership.
- Drive continual improvements in reporting processes, refine financial models, and seek opportunities to automate and optimize workflows.
- Work in close coordination with cross-functional teams across multiple markets to ensure alignment on financial priorities and timely resolution of reporting issues.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally with exposure to regional finance operations.
- Solid knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical capabilities complemented by excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, meticulous, and capable of effectively juggling multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
