About Mindrift and the Role
Mindrift is seeking talented Frontend Developers proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Next.js to contribute to the Tendem project. In this role, you will work remotely and part-time to craft high-quality landing pages and multi-page websites, collaborating with AI systems and human agents to produce polished, conversion-optimized web solutions that align with client briefs.
Project Overview
The Mindrift platform connects experts with AI initiatives from leading technology innovators, aiming to harness the capabilities of Generative AI through global professional expertise.
This freelance position involves designing and implementing landing pages, waitlist and promotional pages with clear call-to-actions, as well as small websites (such as portfolios, restaurant, business sites, and simple online stores), ensuring responsiveness, performance, and visual appeal.
Key Duties
- Create conversion-focused landing and promo pages featuring compelling hero sections and CTAs
- Develop small multi-page websites adhering to client requirements and appropriate site structure
- Implement responsive, mobile-friendly designs compatible across multiple devices and browsers
- Integrate functional elements including forms, email capture, basic analytics, and simple or headless CMS content
- Apply fundamental on-page SEO practices such as semantic HTML, meta tags, performance optimization, and accessibility standards
- Review and refine AI-generated frontend code to production-ready quality
- Independently diagnose and resolve layout, performance, and cross-browser compatibility issues
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum three years of relevant frontend development experience, particularly in landing pages and small website creation
- Preferred educational background includes Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Design, or closely related disciplines
- Strong command of HTML, CSS (with Flexbox and Grid), and JavaScript
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Astro
- Familiarity with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind or component libraries
- Able to convert Figma designs or written specifications into clean, maintainable code
- Knowledgeable in handling forms, email capture tools, and basic analytics setups like GA4 or Plausible
- Working understanding of on-page SEO, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and Core Web Vitals metrics
- Experience working with simple CMS platforms or headless CMS such as Webflow, Framer, Sanity, or Contentful is advantageous
- Exceptional attention to visual detail ensuring purposeful, distinctive page designs
- Self-motivated and able to deliver complete pages with minimal oversight
- Strong portfolio showcasing developed landing pages and small websites
- Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher
Workload and Compensation
The project typically requires approximately 10 to 20 hours per week during active periods, though this is an estimate and not guaranteed. Compensation can reach up to $60 per hour equivalent based on contributor expertise and speed, with variations depending on individual project scope.
