Job description

Role overview

This position is focused on keeping freight, courier, and fulfillment activities running smoothly across Qatar and the GCC. You will oversee shipment movement end to end, coordinate deliveries and returns, and make sure records are accurate for multiple brands.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor all incoming shipments from China and Dubai, covering sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, and express courier movements, and update a live tracker daily with ETD, ETA, carrier details, and shipment status.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers for imports into Qatar and Dubai, while keeping a complete record of customs papers, HS codes, and duty payments for each shipment.
  • Draft and submit shipping paperwork, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, and certificates of origin.
  • Handle routine courier activity with Aramex and FedEx, including booking, tracking, and checking invoices, and identify any billing issues before payment is approved.
  • Coordinate stock transfers from Dubai to the Qatar store and follow outbound consignments from dispatch until delivery is confirmed.
  • Review the Qatar local delivery app each day, chase pending, delayed, or failed orders, and escalate issues when required.
  • Track incoming returns, whether international returns through Aramex or UAE returns via a local partner, and work with the store team on condition checks while maintaining a full returns register.
  • Keep freight, customs, courier, and transfer documents neatly organized for finance reconciliation and internal audit purposes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar field. Prior experience of 1–2 years in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations is required, along with familiarity with sea freight, air freight, express courier workflows, GCC import/export procedures, and customs clearance requirements. Experience using Aramex, FedEx, or comparable courier systems is important. Strong accuracy in invoice review, shipment tracking, and documentation is essential, as is comfort working with Excel or Google Sheets. The role also requires clear written English; knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.

Additional information

This is a full-time onsite role based in Doha, Qatar. The position involves working across multiple freight channels and brands, with responsibility for both movement control and documentation accuracy.
