About the Role
Join CodeCargo as a Frontend Software Engineer to design and implement user-centric interfaces that energize our platform. This position involves more than just UI composition; it focuses on developing robust, production-ready frontends that tackle complex user experience and performance challenges. You will work closely with product designers and backend teams to craft fast, appealing, and scalable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and support high-quality user interfaces utilizing Next.js and the latest web technologies.
- Design frontend components, pages, and interactions ensuring speed, accessibility, and visual refinement.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to convert requirements into seamless user experiences.
- Integrate frontend elements with backend APIs and real-time services.
- Enhance frontend performance, rendering speed, caching, and architectural scalability.
- Maintain consistency and excellence through component libraries, design systems, and best practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews, design conversations, and planning sessions.
- Improve frontend developer tooling, documentation, and overall developer experience.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in frontend engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong command of React and Next.js, including server components, routing, and data fetching.
- Advanced skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proven ability to create production-level interfaces in dynamic, fast-moving settings.
- Knowledge of frontend performance tuning, accessibility standards, and responsive layout design.
- Experience working with API integrations, real-time data, and backend connections.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities within modern frontend ecosystems.
- Effective communication skills both written and oral.
Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory)
- Experience developing or using design systems, component libraries, or UI frameworks.
- Understanding of real-time or event-driven user interface patterns.
- Familiarity with advanced Next.js features, including edge rendering and hybrid SSR/ISR techniques.
- Background working at startups or fast-growing companies.
- Contributions to open-source frontend tooling or JavaScript projects.
