Job Overview

As a Grill Cook, you will prepare and serve food at the grill station, strictly following federal, state, and company standards to ensure excellent food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and prepare quick-preparation items while managing service stations efficiently.
• Deliver service in a friendly, prompt manner adhering to defined service steps and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and follow ticket collection procedures during service periods.
• Use approved recipes and portion controls to achieve proper quality and consistent food serving temperatures.
• Transport food items safely between cooking, refrigeration, and service areas following safety protocols.
• Store food appropriately according to wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Address customer concerns and communicate important information to supervisors as needed.
• Attend required safety and in-service meetings to stay compliant and informed.
• Foster cooperative relationships with team members, customers, and management.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace environment while performing all duties.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in culinary roles and customer service is necessary.

Work Schedule and Location

This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, located at Food Lion, 2110 Executive Drive, Salisbury, NC 28147. Applications are accepted online only.

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $13.00 to $15.00.
