Gatehouse Operative

Overview

The Gatehouse Operative acts as the initial point of contact for all visitors, contractors, and staff, ensuring the facility's safety and orderly functioning. This position integrates responsibilities related to security, access control, and client interaction, contributing significantly to a secure, organised, and hospitable workplace.

Key Duties

• Manage gate access systems to monitor arrivals and departures effectively.
• Authenticate the identities of visitors, contractors, and delivery staff.
• Implement and uphold company security policies consistently.
• Keep meticulous records of all visitors, vehicles, and shipments.
• Supervise and regulate traffic movements entering and leaving the premises.
• Handle emergencies and security incidents promptly and professionally.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to all individuals on site.
• Maintain effective communication with operational and security team members.
• Assist with inquiries and direct visitors accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and site personnel.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and site rules.
• Perform other operational tasks as required.

Work Conditions and Benefits

• Based in Lusk, Co. Dublin, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM following a 4 days on, 4 days off rolling schedule.
• Annual salary offered is €35,000.
