Tata Consultancy Services is looking to hire a GCP Data Engineer for its Trivandrum location through a walk-in drive.

The position requires 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Technical Expertise Needed
- Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud data engineering services such as BigQuery and Dataproc.
- Strong programming capability in Python and PySpark for data processing and engineering work.
- Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing platforms and the core concepts behind them.
- Ability to build, support, and improve ETL pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica.
Preferred Skills
- Awareness of DevOps principles within the Google Cloud environment.
- Ability to design data models that are efficient, scalable, and well-structured.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools for collaboration and source management.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security practices to help ensure compliance and safeguard sensitive information.
