This role of General Manager – Digital Engineering is critical for advancing Datacom's AI digital engineering services, placing the company as a leading force in AI-enabled applications and enterprise transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Datacom’s AI digital engineering solutions to increase market visibility and generate new business opportunities.
- Establish Datacom as a frontrunner in AI-driven applications and enterprise change initiatives.
- Engage with executives and key decision-makers to identify business opportunities and help define solution roadmaps.
- Collaborate with practice managers and technical leaders to scope projects and ensure effective delivery.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders.
- Lead consultative sales efforts, driving positive commercial outcomes.
- Conduct negotiations and influence critical business decisions.
Required Experience and Skills
- A minimum of five years in sales or business development leadership roles.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth for technology or digital engineering service offerings.
- Experience with consultative selling techniques in the technology sector.
- Adept at building relationships with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
- Skilled in negotiating commercial terms within technology services or solutions.
- Proficient in delivering presentations to executive-level audiences.
- Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in selling software or digital engineering solutions across diverse areas.
- Practical familiarity with CRM systems.
- Insight into New Zealand's AI adoption landscape and digital engineering market.
- Experience engaging clients across both New Zealand’s public and private sectors.
