Opportunity Overview
This is a contract graphic design position for a UK-wide remote setup, with the possibility of moving into a full-time arrangement. The role sits within a client-side creative team and reports to the Creative Lead.
The hiring client is a UK-based business with a consistent flow of work across digital and print channels. The position suits a designer who can work independently, bring a strong portfolio, and handle production-focused design tasks with confidence.
Pay and Working Arrangement
Compensation is set at £15 to £22 per hour, which is equivalent to approximately £29,250 to £42,900 per year when calculated on a 37.5-hour working week. The role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere in the UK.
Job type: Contract, with full-time options also available.
Role Summary
The Graphic Designer will create a broad range of visual content for marketing, branding, and digital communication. The role requires close coordination with the marketing team to ensure that every output follows the company’s brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create marketing materials for social media, email campaigns, websites, and printed collateral.
- Develop branded graphics, layouts, and reusable templates for ongoing activity.
- Ensure all creative outputs remain aligned with established brand rules and visual identity.
- Work with marketing, content, and outside suppliers to interpret and deliver briefs.
- Handle several design tasks at once while keeping to deadlines and revision cycles.
- Prepare final artwork for both print production and digital release.
- Keep design files, libraries, and version tracking well organised.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in graphic design, supported by a strong portfolio of work.
- Comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Solid grasp of layout, typography, and applying brand guidelines consistently.
- Ability to juggle multiple briefs while maintaining accurate time planning.
- Clear written communication skills in English.
- Self-driven, well organised, and effective in a fully remote working setup.
- Reliable home internet access and a suitable workspace.
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Figma, motion graphics tools, or video editing software.
- Background in either in-house design teams or agency environments.
