Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records to accurately identify patients' diagnoses and treatments.
• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to patient records.
• Map patient diagnoses to Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) effectively.
• Ensure consistency and correctness of all medical coding activities.
• Conduct audits of medical records and documentation to verify precision.
• Offer constructive coding feedback to physicians and healthcare providers.
• Educate clinic staff and healthcare practitioners on clinical documentation standards and coding compliance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Solid understanding and expertise in medical coding practices.
• High level of attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
• Strong adherence to compliance requirements in coding and documentation.
• Proficient knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and HEDIS CAT II coding systems.
• Possession of at least one certification among CRC, CPC, or CCS is mandatory.
• Minimum experience of 1.7 years for certified HCC coders and over 2 years for HCC QA roles.
• Willingness to work onsite in Hyderabad with acceptable notice periods.
