Role Overview - Head of Human Resources
We are seeking a full-time HR leader based onsite in Bad Essen. You will play a pivotal role advising and supporting managers and employees across the German subsidiaries of our group, covering both strategic and operational HR topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and assist leadership and staff on a range of personnel matters, both strategic and day-to-day.
- Handle labor law and internal company issues ensuring compliance and appropriate responses.
- Recruit skilled and managerial personnel to meet company needs.
- Plan and coordinate training and professional development initiatives.
- Implement and oversee personnel-related measures, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Develop and improve HR processes continuously to optimize operations.
- Prepare and deliver HR analytics and reports for management insight.
- Lead and manage a team of two HR employees, fostering collaboration and development.
Candidate Profile
- Completed university degree focusing on Human Resources or commercial training complemented by advanced qualifications such as a Personnel Specialist certification, or equivalent.
- Several years' experience in a similar HR leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing industrial environment.
- Strong expertise in labor law, as well as knowledge of tax and social security regulations is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with HR management software.
- Demonstrates proactive and structured work habits characterized by trustworthiness, independence, flexibility, and pragmatic problem-solving.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to assert influence effectively.
