Role Overview

This on-site part-time role supports research and development activities at KIT in Karlsruhe. Responsibilities include assisting with mechanical design and analysis, creating CAD models and technical drawings, setting up laboratory experiments, collecting and analyzing measurement data, preparing documentation, and aiding in the production of technical reports and presentations. The position requires collaboration with academic personnel and students to ensure effective project progress and methodology enhancement.

Project Background and Objective

The project involves utilizing magnetic resonance techniques to non-invasively study energy materials, focusing on operando analysis which examines materials under working conditions. A key task is to engineer a custom-made, mechanically robust probe housing integrated with an optical illumination system tailored for magnetic resonance probes dedicated to energy material research.
