Role overview
This position is responsible for keeping guest apartments clean, neat, and comfortable so that resident expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
What you will do
- Clean and inspect the number of apartments assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Follow the correct procedures to make sure rooms meet standards for cleanliness, amenities, and placement of literature.
- Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor or Engineering team about missing items, damage to linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment, and any maintenance issues.
- Support day-to-day housekeeping operations by refilling guest amenities, F&B items, bathroom supplies, and other guest provisions.
- Check that housekeeping equipment remains in proper working order.
- Carry out the CARE Programme for apartments allocated by the supervisor.
- Handle storeroom organisation and stock issuance as assigned.
- Respond to residents’ requests in a prompt and helpful manner.
- Assist with monthly linen stock counts in the assigned area.
- Manage the storage and release of linen and uniforms.
- Swap apartment linen and employee uniforms according to the established standards.
- Request laundry supplies and materials and maintain usage records.
- Receive, verify, record, and deliver guest laundry according to required standards.
- Ensure the laundry contractor maintains cleanliness standards and completes work within deadlines.
- Sort, count, and document linen and soiled items.
- Inspect washed items to confirm they are clean and usable.
- Take on other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Higher secondary education or an equivalent level of schooling.
- At least 1 year of housekeeping experience.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision while maintaining strong performance.
- Able to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
