Role Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is looking for a Housekeeper to help keep a long-term care facility clean, orderly, and safe. This position supports a setting where resident comfort, sanitation, and a positive experience are essential.

Pay

The starting wage for this role is USD 13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day housekeeping duties in resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Keep cleaning logs or other records up to date and notify a supervisor about maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow infection prevention practices and universal precautions to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Interact courteously with residents, staff, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
• Handle any additional duties assigned by the supervisor or leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
• Ability to communicate well and maintain a positive approach when working with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and remain standing, sitting, bending, and walking for long periods.
• Comfort with repetitive work and routine tasks performed continuously.
• Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals and products.
• Must be able to follow spoken and written instructions consistently.
• Residency within the service area is required.
