Accountabilities

- Carry out detailed fact-finding, including interviews, document review, and evidence evaluation, then prepare investigation summaries and recommendations that are clear and defensible.
- Provide guidance to employees and people leaders on difficult workplace matters, conflict resolution, and approaches to reducing risk.
- Work with leadership teams to review findings, suggest corrective actions, and apply policies and practices consistently.
- Coach managers on responding to employee concerns, encouraging constructive workplace behavior, and preventing repeat issues.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and other internal stakeholders to support policy alignment, improve employee resources, and strengthen self-service options.
- Review employee relations patterns and case outcomes to identify process improvements, standardization opportunities, and areas where organizational risk can be reduced.
- Keep case records accurate, complete, and updated on time in line with internal requirements and legal expectations.
- Assist with additional HR advisory work such as accommodation requests, performance management discussions, and special projects.
- Help refine investigation methods, documentation practices, and broader HR standards.
Required background
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred, though equivalent professional HR experience may be accepted instead.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR, ideally in an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, HR Manager, HR Generalist, or comparable role.
- Hands-on experience leading workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, and other sensitive employee relations matters.
- Solid understanding of employment law, HR policy, compliance expectations, and employee relations best practices.
- Ability to handle complex and sensitive situations with professionalism, objectivity, discretion, and strong judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed documentation that is clear and legally supportable.
- Strong consulting and relationship-building abilities, plus the confidence to influence leaders and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Well-developed conflict resolution, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to manage several priorities at once, work independently, and move cases toward timely closure.
- Strong analytical thinking and business judgment, with the ability to spot trends, evaluate risk, and support sound decisions.
Compensation and benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $52,025 to $97,528.69, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and job-related skills. The role may also qualify for an annual performance bonus with a target incentive opportunity.
- Comprehensive healthcare and wellness-oriented benefits.
- Retirement savings support and financial wellbeing programs.
- Paid time off plus company-recognized holidays.
- Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration and career development pathways.
- A chance to contribute to work that positively affects employees, organizations, and communities.
- An inclusive, collaborative culture centered on innovation, ongoing improvement, and employee support.
