About the Role

Clutch Creative, a dynamic staffing agency dedicated to connecting clients with exceptional talent, is seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from either the LA or NY area (PST or EST time zones). The ideal candidate is an early-career professional passionate about managing daily HR operations, enriching the employee experience, and fostering a positive, value-based workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts by managing tasks including job posting, interview scheduling, and facilitating the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate employee records, manage time-off tracking, and assist with benefits administration and enrollment procedures.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the employee handbook, ensuring HR practices comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and policies.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving routine questions and supporting internal communication initiatives.
  • Coordinate team-building activities, events, and assist with the rollout of training or professional growth programs to nurture company culture.
  • Manage HR administrative tools and systems, assist with reporting on HR metrics, and seek opportunities to improve and streamline internal processes.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • Between one and three years of experience in an HR or supportive administrative function, inclusive of internships or recent relevant roles.
  • Basic understanding of HR fundamentals, relevant labor laws, and ethical workplace standards.
  • Strong integrity with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and aptitude for quickly learning HRIS, ATS, or benefits management platforms.
  • A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
