Job description
Role Overview
The Human Resources Liaison at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare (BHH) plays a vital role in optimizing the efficiency of operational business functions by managing human resource services. This includes ensuring that all personnel records and documentation comply with Montana’s state and federal laws, adherence to compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and handle employer-required documentation.
- Prepare and submit necessary employer reports according to legal obligations.
- Monitor changes in labor laws and recommend appropriate organizational adjustments.
- Provide talent management advice to hiring managers and coordinate recruitment activities including job postings and virtual recruitment.
- Conduct candidate screening, facilitate onboarding processes, and lead New Employee Orientation sessions.
- Serve as the point of contact between applicants, candidates, employees, and HR departments.
- Recruit clinical, non-clinical, and professional staff aligning with BHH’s organizational needs.
- Handle employment inquiries and direct complex or sensitive matters to the HR Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years’ Human Resources experience including at least three years dedicated to sourcing and recruiting candidates or contractors.
- Prior experience recruiting within the healthcare sector is mandatory.
- Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, CHHR, or ASPR are preferred.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or HR databases is required.
- Expertise in using job posting platforms and social media for recruitment purposes.
- Strong ability to make decisions independently and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated skill to successfully 'close the deal' with prospective hires.
- Maintain updated knowledge on employment law, HR best practices, and emerging trends in talent management.
- Ability to perform additional related duties as assigned.
