Location and Employment

This is a full-time, direct hire position based onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, development, retention, and exit processes.
  • Develop recruiting strategies and build talent pipelines for production workers, technical professionals, experienced and entry-level hires; collaborate with staffing agencies and external recruiters when necessary.
  • Design and implement training, onboarding, and professional development programs that enhance operational growth and workforce readiness.
  • Create and update scalable HR policies, procedures, job descriptions, compensation structures, performance reviews, and the employee handbook.
  • Oversee payroll administration, benefits management, maintaining employee records, reporting, workers’ compensation, workplace safety, and legal compliance.
  • Manage employment-based immigration processes with external legal counsel, including documentation, work authorization tracking, communication, and support for internationally hired employees.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in HR roles within manufacturing or production environments, supporting both hourly and skilled workforce segments.
  • Proven success recruiting a range of talent including skilled production employees, technical staff, experienced professionals, and early-career workers in a competitive marketplace.
  • Background in designing and administering employee training, development, onboarding, and workforce readiness programs.
  • Comprehensive HR expertise including employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, compliance, workers’ compensation, workplace safety, compensation, and policy formulation.
  • A proactive and collaborative leadership approach able to independently establish programs, address challenges, uphold confidentiality, and thrive in a fast-growing organization.
