Role Overview

Seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to take on a flexible, autonomous position as People & Operations Lead in a hybrid setup, based in Dublin City Centre. This role reports directly to the CEO and offers an opportunity to manage HR functions and light office operations in a relaxed, low-turnover environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate strategically with CEO and senior leadership to guide HR initiatives, policies, and employee engagement efforts.
  • Handle employee relations issues such as performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and grievances in accordance with employment law, engaging external legal advice as necessary.
  • Facilitate learning and development activities, coordinate performance reviews, manage employee engagement surveys, and supervise training budgets.
  • Administer monthly payroll, track employee benefits, and liaise with finance to ensure accuracy.
  • Champion company culture by leading wellbeing programs and organizing social events like summer gatherings, holiday celebrations, and bi-annual away days.
  • Manage minor office operations including supplier coordination, occasional travel arrangements, and inventory management requiring minimal monthly hours.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably with a relevant tertiary qualification or CIPD certification.
  • Demonstrable experience in payroll administration or employee relations; training support available to develop skills in either area.
  • Personality traits should include approachability, extroversion, and strong interpersonal communication across diverse teams.
  • Self-driven, capable of independent work, and proactive in suggesting improvements to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

Why Join the Team?

  • Enjoy exceptional schedule flexibility with hybrid working options and adaptable core hours.
  • Benefit from a low-pressure work environment characterized by high employee retention and little recruitment demand.
  • Access substantial budgets dedicated to learning and development, supporting ongoing professional growth.
  • Experience a flat organizational structure with approachable leadership fostered in an informal, cooperative workplace atmosphere.
