Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing all HR operations for the on-site team in Frankfurt on a full-time basis. This role encompasses overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and offboarding. The manager is tasked with establishing and enforcing HR policies, maintaining positive employee relations, and ensuring compliance with German labor laws. Supporting leadership in workforce planning and organizational growth is also essential. Daily duties include coordinating training programs, upholding accurate HR documentation, and assisting with compensation and benefits alongside company leadership. Additionally, the role involves cultivating an inclusive workplace culture, resolving employee issues, and applying HR best practices to foster a productive and positive environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Well-versed in German labor legislation, HR compliance standards, and policy creation.
  • Strong skills in conflict management, coaching, and assisting managers and employees with workplace matters.
  • Capability to develop and oversee training and development initiatives that encourage staff growth.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities, with a commitment to handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German language proficiency is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site at Frankfurt, cooperate effectively across departments, and promote inclusive workplace values.
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; professional HR certifications are a plus.
  • Previous work experience in the education sector, childcare, or service-oriented industries offers added benefit.
