Role Summary
The Impact Intelligence Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to our clients—including governments, foundations, corporations, impact investors, and nonprofits—to enhance their capability in aligning with national and international social impact measurement standards. The role involves guiding clients through understanding and applying outcomes frameworks, indicators, and impact communication methods, alongside fostering evaluation capacity and translating evidence into improved social outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to comprehend their mission, programs, and targeted outcomes, assisting in crafting actionable impact measurement approaches.
- Facilitate adoption or creation of tailored Outcomes Frameworks, Theories of Change, MEL frameworks aligned with national and international social impact standards and best practices.
- Advise clients on selecting relevant outcomes, indicators, and evidence aligned with their goals, ensuring practical and proportionate methodologies.
- Provide expertise on impact measurement, investing, and the evolving social impact landscape, including guidance on emerging legislation, reporting standards, and ESG social dimensions.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive insightful, clear, and actionable findings.
- Support implementation of impact measurement and reporting on Seer Communities and Metiora platforms.
- Design impactful reports, dashboards, and evidence products to facilitate learning, decision-making, and continuous refinement.
- Stay informed on evolving methodologies, standards, and best practices in social impact evaluation and investing, contributing to the development of organizational tools and thought leadership.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure outstanding client outcomes and continuous enhancement of products, services, and client experience.

Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in evaluation, sustainability, social sciences, public policy, community development, psychology, economics, education, international development, or related field.
- Documented experience working with social impact frameworks at national and international levels.
- Proven track record developing Outcomes Frameworks, Theories of Change, Program Logic Models, and similar evaluation frameworks.
- Knowledge of recognized Australian and international impact and ESG standards and reporting frameworks.
- Experience across corporate, government, nonprofit, philanthropy, social enterprise, or impact investment sectors.
Desirable: Experience with data visualization, reporting dashboards, or impact platforms.
