Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and strategic achievement of a team of analysts and associates managing cybersecurity event detection, investigation, and incident response.
- Exemplify positive leadership behaviors and establish clear communication of expectations, goals, and objectives for your team.
- Delegate tasks effectively, empower team members, and eliminate obstacles to mission success.
- Serve as Incident Commander during major priority one incidents and provide escalation support for critical issues.
- Set ambitious quality targets for the team and mentor members to align personal goals with team objectives.
- Recruit and nurture high-performing personnel aligned with team missions.
- Leverage metrics, stakeholder feedback, threat intelligence, and industry best practices to continuously elevate security measures.
- Lead initiatives in training, process improvements, and security awareness communication across DTCC.
- Be available for occasional travel to trainings, conferences, and other offices up to 20%.
- Participate as an escalation contact on the on-call rotation and handle emergency after-hours responses as needed.
- Create and promote messaging to raise security awareness and advocate CMIR programs within the organization.
Qualifications
- At least six years of relevant experience in incident management or comparable critical operations.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable.

- Proven success in leading complex technical projects involving collaboration across teams.
- Exemplary tactical leadership guiding teams to achieve technical objectives.
- Strategic capacity to define goals, develop action plans, allocate tasks, track progress, and motivate teams towards success.
- Strong report writing abilities, including detailed analysis and recommended actions.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Autonomous execution of tasks from minimal directives, including prioritization and multi-tasking.
- Proactive problem identification and resolution capabilities.
- Emotional intelligence and sound management principles.
- Motivation to contribute meaningfully within a high-achieving team environment.
