Industrial Designer

Job Overview

The Industrial Designer will be responsible for various aspects of product development including design, research, prototyping, and detailed documentation. The role involves close collaboration with the Owner/President and the entire UbeCube team throughout the entire product lifecycle, from inception to market release. This position offers a chance to work in a supportive and dedicated environment focusing on quality, creativity, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and technical drawings of products using Solidworks software.
• Maintain existing records systematically while creating new documentation as needed.
• Manage and test prototypes received from vendors, approving them based on standards.
• Ensure all product components comply with company quality requirements.
• Prepare and present analysis and reports to management as requested.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Solidworks design software.
• Familiarity with KeyShot Studio for rendering and visualization.
• A bachelor's degree in industrial design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over seven years of industrial design experience.
• Skills in animation design.
• Experience with plastic injection molding techniques is beneficial.
• Knowledge of packaging design is advantageous.
• Video editing skills are a plus.
• Competence in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and solving problems efficiently.
• Effective team collaborator.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
