Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out intake assessments and observations to gauge trainees' capabilities and suggest suitable placements.
- Design and implement vocational readiness and life skills training aimed at equipping trainees for employment and independent living.
- Keep detailed records of assessments, trainee progress, and maintain documentation regularly.
- Work collaboratively with caregivers, program teams, employers, and other relevant parties to aid trainees' growth and ensure smooth transitions.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Occupational Therapy, or related fields.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism in areas such as assessment, vocational training, or transition programs is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, assessment, facilitation, and documentation capabilities.
- A deep passion for supporting individuals with special needs and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
