Instructor (Transition Programme)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out intake assessments and observations to gauge trainees' capabilities and suggest suitable placements.
• Design and implement vocational readiness and life skills training aimed at equipping trainees for employment and independent living.
• Keep detailed records of assessments, trainee progress, and maintain documentation regularly.
• Work collaboratively with caregivers, program teams, employers, and other relevant parties to aid trainees' growth and ensure smooth transitions.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Occupational Therapy, or related fields.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism in areas such as assessment, vocational training, or transition programs is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, assessment, facilitation, and documentation capabilities.
• A deep passion for supporting individuals with special needs and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
