About the Role
Join a dynamic and focused team aiming to make a tangible impact by leveraging your audit expertise. As an Internal Auditor, you will examine processes for risks, implement improvements, and act as a collaborative advisor to colleagues and internal clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently plan, document, and execute audits
- Analyze processes to identify risks and develop practical solutions
- Create clear and valuable audit reports
- Support change management projects with professional insights and assist with implementation
- Coordinate and manage external audits and handle supervisory authority inquiries
Requirements
- Completed degree in Economics, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of two years' experience in auditing or financial auditing
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements, preferably within a financial regulatory environment
- Structured, self-driven working style combined with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to explain complex matters clearly, honestly, and with equal respect
- Willingness to work primarily onsite in Freiburg
Working Conditions
- Language proficiency: Advanced German (C1) and basic English (B2)
