Job description

Role Overview

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory processes, conducting detailed analyses on raw materials and price categories, and ensuring smooth coordination between various operations related to catalog manufacturing, distribution, and lounge inventory management. This role also involves price adjustment proposals based on market research, data analysis for forecasting, recruitment and training of inventory personnel, and ensuring shipment and transaction accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory status, sales data on raw materials and pricing categories in depth.
  • Monitor and follow the production schedule for catalogs and hangars, ensuring alignment with annual plans.
  • Track distribution progress of catalogs to customers and assess sales post-distribution.
  • Regularly review and update the clientele database related to raw material transactions.
  • Oversee inventory balances of both distributed and in-progress catalogs, maintaining sufficient stock levels.
  • Maintain the company’s product library by updating with current codes and removing obsolete ones.
  • Collaborate with lounge management to take full inventory of lounges, adjusting hangars to maintain balanced stock and appropriate display.
  • Recommend pricing adjustments after analyzing comparable market items and consulting with sales and presentation teams, in agreement with the supply manager.
  • Perform data analysis to forecast future inventory requirements.
  • Lead recruitment and conduct training for new inventory staff members.
  • Ensure shipments and inventory transactions are accurate and well recorded.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Inventory Manager.
  • Proficient in inventory management software such as ERP, and strong skills in Excel and Power BI.
  • Ability to meticulously track inventory and generate detailed reports.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Certification in product and inventory management.
