Key responsibilities

• Operate within a DevOps setup and assist with fast infrastructure rollouts alongside software developers.
• Provide support for round-the-clock IT operations, including monitoring systems and responding to incidents.
• Take ownership of cloud system administration tasks such as installation, setup, patching, and security control.
• Track applications and infrastructure proactively to keep services running reliably.
• Investigate incidents and problems and work toward resolution within agreed service levels.
• Manage software releases, version upgrades, and system improvement activities.
• Support technologies including Docker, SQL, MongoDB, APIs, and DataOps platforms such as StreamSets.
• Maintain application environments built around Enterprise Java, VB, and GitHub-based workflows.
• Carry out installation, administration, and upkeep of Windows and Linux servers.
• Assist with network administration and related operational support tasks.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working with cloud infrastructure and cloud services.
• Practical experience in database support, end-user applications, and system administration.
• Background in Enterprise Java, VB, and GitHub application environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud administration tasks, including configuration, patching, and security management.
• Professional IT certifications are considered an added advantage.
• Comfort working in shifts and handling responsibilities independently under pressure.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, organization, and time management.
• Good communication and people skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
